    Bronze Mailbox
Need a bronze mailbox? The bronze
mailbox is a classic which dates back many years, it is just
as good today as it was back then, especially if you pick
one up that has an antique flair to it. You can also
get a contemporary bronze mailbox if you so desire, it
really is up to you, there are many different types
available. To help you make a decision though, I’ve
got some reviews here of some bronze mailboxes you may want
to consider picking up. All of these have been rated
well and are good buys:
1. Epoch #7108 Bronze Mail
Boss Mailbox
You can find this one on Amazon for $164,
it is a solid bronze mailbox. It is very large and
rectangular, meant to be placed on top of a post. It
has a triangular red flag on the side and it has a wide slot
at the top which you can pull open to put in the mail.
This part of the mailbox also has the words “U.S. Mail”
engraved upon it, below which is a circular lock which can
be opened to retrieve the mail that was placed down inside
of it.
This is quite expensive due to the fact
that it is made of bronze, however this is the premium you
must pay if you want your mailbox to be of solid
metal. If this is too much for you and you just want a
bronze colored mailbox, consider the following
options:
2. Solar E1100BZ0 Group The
Elite Premium Bronze Steel Mailbox
Here is your classic barn shaped mailbox
with a red flag on the side. The front of the mailbox
latch also has the words “U.S. Mail” engraved on it as well
as a bald eagle engraved above that.
If the previous mailbox was a bit too
much, this one is a fraction of the price at only
$21.47. This is 1/3 heavier than most other rural
mailboxes, comes with a metal latch and flag, fully
assembled and a 7 year warranty.
If you want the bronze look as cheap as
you can get it, this is what you should go with.
3. Solar #AR15T000 Large T2
Bronze Steel Mailbox
Now while the above was bronze colored,
you could still tell that it was made of aluminum.
This mailbox however has a grainier texture to it and looks
more like a real bronze mailbox. This too is built
exactly like the one above, barn shaped with the eagle and
“U.S. Mail” engraved into the front.
Part of the reason why this looks more
solid is because it is bronze cast aluminum and steel.
Now if you were looking for a bronze mailbox, hopefully this
has given you some perspective on what to expect. If you
want a real bronze mailbox, you’re going to have to pay a
premium for it.
