Pedestal Mailboxes

Out of 27 reviews, this has gained a 4/5 star rating on Amazon so it is by far one of the more popular mailboxes to consider picking up online.

This is your simple barnyard shaped black mailbox with red flag on the side, it is made of galvanized steel and is 15” high, 12” wide and 24” long.  This has a plastic latch and comes fully assembled, ready to be installed.  Now when you get this, you’re going to have to buy the post separately.  On it’s own, the mailbox goes for $37.28, when purchased with a stand, the price for both goes up to $74.77.
What makes this mailbox great is that it is large enough to hold small packages and also regular mail, your mailman will love you for this.

About the only bad thing about it is that the flag seems a bit flimsy.

2.   Architectural Mailboxes Oasis Jr. Mailboxes

Another popular mailbox to consider is this one right here for $107.91.  This one is quite large at 18”Dx15”Hx11.5”W and 23 pounds.  It is made of heavy 16 and 18 gauge black galvanized steel and has a pull down door with a tray, like regular mailboxes on the streets do, upon which you can place a small parcel and have it fall inside of the box.

This one too is quite popular as it has a 4.5/5 star rating from 18 customer reviews.  This too needs to be bolted down onto a stand which you purchase separately as well.

Now to give you an idea of just how big this mailbox is, you can fit a women’s size 7 shoebox in at the top quite easily.  This is a contemporary and solid looking mailbox that stands head and shoulders above all others.

Now if you’re looking for other pedestal mailboxes, especially ones that are a bit cheaper, I’d suggest you look around a bit more, however, these pedestal mailboxes are some of the best around.
